Back from spring break, the Stow-Munroe Falls boys lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season April 4.

Playing at Kent State University's Dix Stadium, the Bulldogs dropped a 13-7 loss to Mentor. Stow fell to 3-1 on the season with the loss.

Stow took an early lead of 4-3 after quarter and lead 5-3 early in the second before the Cardinal tied things up at 5-5 at the half.

The difference in the game was a six-goal outburst by the Cardinals, which blew open the close contest. It was the first time this season Stow was outscored in the second half, as Mentor had an 8-2 edge in goals after halftime.

Mentor was led by Jacob Tackett, who scored five goals in the win.
