Stow-Munroe Falls boys basketball team routs Firestone

The Stow-Munroe Falls boys basketball team earned a date in a Division I sectional title game.

The Bulldogs rolled to a 57-37 victory over Akron Firestone Feb. 27 at Copley High School.

With the win, Stow (11-12) earned a date with second-seeded Twinsburg March 2 at 7:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs led most of the way and were up 30-15 at halftime. Matt Beech led Stow with a game-high 25 points and Nathan Bower-Malone and Jacob Williams added 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Evan Kennerly led the Falcons (13-8) with 13 points.
