It seems like Ian Holt has played The Ohio State University's Scarlet Course about 1,000 times during his career. The 2014 Stow-Munroe Falls graduate, a rising senior at Kent State University, played on the Columbus course every year in high school since he was a four-time state qualifier.

Triathlon coming to area soon

The Tick Tock Triathlon is scheduled to take place Aug. 12 at Hudson Park Estates Pool, which is located at 2600 Blue Heron Drive. Registration is set to take place at 8:30 a.m. and the ride is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.

Stow residents run in Parma

Stow resident Keisha Kortright, 27, placed 17th in the female 25-to-29 age group with a time of 30 minutes, 19.8 seconds in the Run for the Pierogies race July 1 at the Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus in Parma. Also running was Stow resident Sharon Spaeth, 44.
