William G. Kovacs Sr.

Served in the Navy

William G. Kovacs Sr., 86, died Nov. 18, 2012. 

Born in Akron, he had retired in 1989 as a driver-salesman for Neidert Distributing with 37 years of service.

He served his country in the U.S Navy during World War II.

He was lifelong member of the Firestone VFW Post 3333.

Preceded in death by his wife, Irene in 2009 and daughter, Karen in 1978, he is survived by his son, William G. Kovacs Jr. (Linda and family); grandson, Clayton (Jessie); nephew, Nick Holpher (Rachel); and friend, Betty Jambor.

Visitation was at the Redmon Funeral Home. Internment was at Crown Hill Cemetery.
