Roadwork may close crossing on Bike & Hike Trail

Continuing until Oct. 1, contractors for the city of Stow will be completing roadwork on Seasons Road between Wyoga Lake and Allen roads, which may affect the Metro Parks district's 33.5-mile Bike & Hike Trail in one location.

Though officials expect the Bike & Hike Trail and all parking lots to remain open during the work, there could be times when the crossing at Seasons Road may need to be temporarily closed. Funds generated from this container will be used to purchase trees that will be planted during Arbor Day activities at several Stow elementary schools and within various open space properties owned by the city of Stow.

The following items will be accepted: Newspaper, mail, catalogs, phone books, magazines, brown paper bags, office paper, cardboard, hard and soft bound books and shredded paper (bagged). Items not being accepted are: plastics (any type), Styrofoam, metal, glass, trash and aluminum.
