Loved watching 'Star Trek'
Mark Brightman, 54, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Jan. 18, 2010.
Mr. Brightman was born in Akron and resided in the Stow area all of his life. He enjoyed watching "Star Trek," being outdoors, playing with his four-legged friends and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Irene Brightman and his sister Beth McCaffrey. He is survived by his sisters Christine (Stephen) Villanova of Cuyahoga Falls, Jane (Homer) Cross of Deersville, Paula (Bill) Folk of Huber Heights and Catherine Brightman of Cuyahoga Falls; brother-in-law Tom McCaffrey; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be made to Traditions of Bath Road Hampton Hills Unit, 300 E. Bath Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44223. His video tribute will be available on the funeral home Web site. Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls handled the arrangements.
