The Marketing Education Class (DECA club) is selling various items of apparel which would make gifts for the holidays. All of the items can be seen in the high school commons' DECA display cases located near the commons doors. Items can also be viewed and purchased by going to SMFHS's district Web site www.smfcsd.org, scrolling down, and clicking on "SMF Webstore." Once there, click on "DECA Spirit Store" on the top left.
Many of the items to choose from include gray hoodies (children sizes offered), baseball Ts, gold screened crews, gold and maroon embroidered crews and thermals. Fun items are offered also such as maroon and gold boas, gold wave towels and roll banners. The seniors continue to sell "Pink Awareness" T's for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Pink Ts sell for $10 each.
The Junior and Senior DECA club is also selling $10 Pizza Hut cards that are good to use at any Pizza Hut in Summit County. The card comes with 12 stickers and each sticker gives the cardholder one free medium pizza with their choice of topping to go along with their paid large pizza. These cards are good for one year and also make stocking stuffers. This is the club's major fundraiser for the year to help offset competition fees and travel expenses for their DECA competitive events coming up in February, March and late April.
