William and Dorothy Meredith recently celebrated their 55th anniversary.
They were married May 9, 1953.
The couple has three children: Scott, Shelly and Trace. The couple also has eight grandchildren.
The couple has lived in Stow since 1955. Dorothy is a 1952 graduate of Stow High School. William is a Korean War veteran.
William, 75, is retired from the Akron Glaziers Local #1162 after 45 years of service. Dorothy, 74, continues to serve as a wife, mother and grandmother. The couple enjoys golfing, bowling, yard work and walks through the city.
