World War II veteran
Andrew J. Francisko, 84, died April 28, 2008.
Mr. Francisko was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific area. He was a resident of Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls for more than three years.
He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. (nee Gladdish); father of the late Elaine Jones (Allen) of Medina, Patricia Kapusinski (Wesley) of Cuyahoga Falls, Fr. Gary Francisko of Burton and Judy Grocky of Parma; grandfather of Allen Jones II (Nancy), Mark Jones (Lorrie), Jennifer Dorne (David), Kristin Burton (Todd), Jeff Grocky and David Grocky; and great-grandfather of Tess Jones. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Ann Mazenko, Catherine Korovich, and John, George, Steve and Elmer Francisko.
Services were at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Brecksville. Interment was at Holy Spirit Cemetery.
