Grief Programs (May 4)

May 4, 2008

Classes available
at GriefCare Place

The GriefCare Place offers support groups to encourage those who have experienced the death of a loved one.

All programs are free of charge.

The meetings take place at The GriefCare Place Support Center, a new facility at 4499 Darrow Road in the Keystone Building in Stow. The meeting area can be accessed through the building's rear entrance, directly across the street from the Omni Plaza.

The GriefCare Place has set up an e-mail "buddy system" allowing grieving teens and college-age youth to e-mail one of the facility's teen/college leaders concerning the loss of their loved ones.

The program is designed to encourage more youth to reach out for support and gain an understanding of their grief. Danielle Kiser-Crooks, Adam Petrosino, Kate Swing and Juliann Trevorrow are the leaders, and Marge Moser is the adviser.

Contact the GriefCare Place at 330-686-1750 or at griefcareplace@att.net for more information or to start the e-mail process.

The GriefCare Place administrative office and lending library, 4499 Darrow Road in Stow, is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
