Stow -- Police arrested a 26-year-old Vira Road woman and charged her with assault following an incident in a Fishcreek Road restaurant April 27 at 1:45 a.m.
A 25-year-old man told police the woman smashed a glass on his face while they were at the restaurant.
Police reported observing cuts on the man's face that resulted from the incident, which several people witnessed.
Police did not report what prompted the incident, nor did officers report whether the man and woman knew one another.
The man was not hospitalized for his injuries, according to the report.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Theft
April 29. Man's debit card taken: A Cuyahoga Falls man told police someone used his debit card to make $643.98 worth of unspecified purchases without his permission between April 28 and 29.
The man told police he lost the card while he was visiting a Wyndham Ridge Drive apartment complex April 28 between 7:10 and 10:42 a.m.
The man's bank is investigating.
April 28. Collector coins taken from nursing center: A Seasons Road nursing center employee told police someone stole the contents of a box containing $5,032 worth of collector coins.
According to the report, the box was delivered to the center April 10, and the theft took place sometime between the delivery date and April 21.
April 28. Man seen taking scooter, looking for other items: A Celeste View Drive man told police he saw a man in his 50s get out of a dark green Ford Explorer with tinted windows and take his scooter from his driveway at 7 p.m.
According to the report, the man in the truck was seen driving around the neighborhood earlier that morning picking up "household trash and items."
The value of the Celeste View Drive man's scooter was $50, according to the report.
Disorderly conduct
April 25. Men accused of fighting in public: Police arrested a 37-year-old Fishcreek Road man and a 35-year-old Maplehurst Road man after witnesses said they saw the men fighting in front of the Maplehurst Road man's home at 2:33 a.m. No injuries were reported.
The men are scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Possession of drugs
April 27. Traffic stop results in arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old Santom Road man and charged him with possession of drugs, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a loud exhaust following a traffic stop at the corner of Maplehurst and Elmwood roads at 3:54 a.m.
Police reported officers stopped the man's vehicle for having a loud exhaust. Following a K-9 vehicle check, officers found suspected oxycontin and believed the man was intoxicated.
He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
April 26. Suspected marijuana found in vehicle: Police arrested a 20-year-old Akron female and charged her with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Allen Road at 12:53 a.m.
According to the report, police stopped the vehicle in which the female was a passenger for an unreported traffic violation. During the investigation, police reported finding suspected marijuana on the female.
No other charges were filed.
The female is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Breaking and entering
April 28. Tire stolen from vehicle in towing lot: A Darrow Road towing lot employee told police someone jumped the lot's fence sometime between April 26 and 28 and stole a tire and its rim from a 2007 silver Ford Focus.
The total value of the items was $350, according to the report.
Police are investigating.
Trespassing
April 23. Items taken from unoccupied home: A Munroe Falls woman told police someone entered an unoccupied home she owns on Meadowbrook Boulevard without her permission sometime between April 18 and 23 and took several items.
According to the report, a printer, a computer monitor, a gas grill and patio furniture were taken.
Police reported the total value of the items was $850.
Arson
April 28. Trash can set on fire: A Darrow Road plaza owner told police someone set a plastic trash can at the site on fire sometime during the night April 26.
According to the report, the fire melted the trash can, causing $300 in estimated damage.
