The visiting Stow-Munroe Falls softball team scored commanding wins over Barberton (10-0) and Firestone (9-1) April 26.
In the win against Barberton, Sammi Guinn had three hits and drove in a run and also recorded her first victory on the season on the mound. She finished with eight strikeouts.
Morgan Springford added two hits and a run batted in and Taylor Weddle had two hits and two RBIs.
Allison Scherer cracked her third home run of the season against Firestone. She drove in two runs. Lauren Hurd added a triple and three RBIs and Caitlin Baker got the win on the mound.
Stow was scheduled to visit Brush April 28. Results were not available at press time. The Lady Bulldogs are set to host Brush May 2 at 4:30 p.m. before heading to Tallmadge for a doubleheader May 3. First pitch is slated for 11 a.m.
