Stow -- Police arrested two 16-year-old Stow females and charged them with telecommunication harassment after a 14-year-old Stow female's mother said the 16-year-olds made a "cruel" video about the 14-year-old and put it on YouTube April 11.
According to the report, the video discussed a rumor about the 14-year-old.
The 16-year-olds were referred to Stow Youth Services.
Disorderly conduct
April 10. Man accused of alarming female: Police arrested a 30-year-old Darrow Road man and charged him with disorderly conduct after an 11-year-old female neighbor said he "scared" her by making loud noises while she was waiting for a school bus to pick her up at 7:25 a.m.
The female told her school principal about the incident, and the male was located in his home later that day.
He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
April 14. Woman accused of making unnecessary emergency calls: Police arrested a 21-year-old Ritchie Road woman and charged her with disorderly conduct after officers reported she made numerous unnecessary emergency calls. The specific number of calls was not reported.
According to the report, the woman made the calls between April 14 at 11:55 a.m. and April 15 at 1:57 a.m. Police reported responding to the calls and determining there was no emergency.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Public intoxication
April 19. Man accused of urinating in public, attempting to flee police: Police arrested a 27-year-old Colony Park Place man and charged him with public intoxication and obstructing official business following an incident in front of a Graham Road bar at 2:30 a.m.
According to the report, police observed the man urinating on the sidewalk in front of the bar.
Police reported the man unsuccessfully attempted to flee the scene when officers approached him. According to the report, police believe the man was intoxicated.
The man is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Endangering children
April 13. Man accused of endangering children: Police arrested a 25-year-old Ravenna man and charged him with endangering children, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to pass a breathalyzer test and driving under suspension after a complaint from a Gilwood Drive woman at 12:35 a.m.
The woman told police the man knocked on her door repeatedly before leaving the scene in a vehicle. It was not reported whether the man and woman were acquaintances.
Police arrived at the scene and followed the vehicle before stopping it at the intersection of Stow and Fishcreek roads at 1:10 a.m.
Police found the man's 2-year-old son in the vehicle, and gave the man a breathalyzer test, which he failed. The man also was found to be driving under suspension.
He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Breaking and entering
April 16. High school stadium press box entered twice: Police reported someone entered the Stow-Munroe Falls High School stadium's press box on two separate occasions and damaged the door jamb, though nothing was taken.
A high school maintenance worker told police someone kicked open the press box's door sometime during the night April 16, causing damage to the door and its jamb. A size-13 shoe print was found on the door, according to the report.
A similar incident took place sometime during the night April 18. The incident was reported by a Stow man who noticed the damage the following morning.
The estimated damage to the door and its jamb is $300, according to the report.
Possession of drugs
April 12. Men accused of several offenses following incident: Police arrested a 44-year-old Akron man and a 48-year-old Akron man and charged them with several offenses following an incident in a Kent Road grocery store at 3:40 a.m.
A Stow Police officer observed "suspicious circumstances" involving the men at the store, according to the report.
The men left the store in a vehicle, which was stopped for an equipment violation on Kent Road shortly after the men left the store, according to the police report.
During the investigation, police reported finding the 44-year-old to be in possession of suspected cocaine and suspected drug paraphernalia.
Police also found suspected drug paraphernalia on the 48-year-old man and a DVD that belonged to the grocery store, according to the report.
The value of the DVD was not reported.
The men are scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Discharge of
a pellet gun
April 20. Man accused of firing pellet gun in city: Police arrested a 44-year-old Cherry Blossom Circle man and charged him with discharge of pellet gun after a neighbor told police she saw him shoot a rabbit in his yard at 9:26 p.m.
The man is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
