Albert and Valda Swanke of Princeton, N.J., announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Swanke, to Thomas Franklin, the son of Lowell and Toni Marquette of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride-elect is a West Windsor Plainsboro High School graduate and graduated from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa., in 2002.
She has a master's degree in education from Rider University that she obtained from the university in 2008.
The bride-elect is employed as an English teacher at South Brunswick High School in New Jersey.
Her fiance attended Stow-Munroe Falls High School and Center High School in Center, Pa.
He also is a 2003 graduate of Penn State University.
He has a master's of business administration candidate at Rutgers University.
He is employed as a supply chain planner at Bristol, Myers, Squibb.
The couple plans to wed in July 2008 in Princeton, N.J.
