James and Judy Lord of Cuyahoga Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Jami Lord, to Jeffery Smith, the son of Kent Smith of Holly Hill, Fla., and William and Jeanette Kremer of Brimfield.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and currently attends The University of Akron. She is employed as a records clerk for the Stow Police Department.
Her fiance is a 1994 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School. He is employed as head technician at Handyman in Fairlawn.
The couple plans to wed in June 2008 at The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
