Stow -- A 19-year-old Stow woman accused of touching a 16-year-old female inappropriately was referred to the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court for a pretrial set to take place March 28 on a charge related to the offense.
Police arrested the 19-year-old and charged her with sexual imposition after the Stow-Munroe Falls High School principal told police he saw her inappropriately touch the 16-year-old female student Feb. 8.
According to the report, the 19-year-old was a former student and was in the building after regular school hours.
According to Stow Police Lt. Rick Myers, the 19-year-old said she was "just horsing around." But, according to Myers, the 16-year-old said the incident "was not just horsing around" and alleged the 19-year-old touched her inappropriately in the past.
Myers said there were several witnesses to the alleged incident, and the girl was barred from school property.
Possession
of crack cocaine
March 20. Woman accused of possessing crack cocaine: Police arrested a 43-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman and charged her with possession crack cocaine, petty theft, driving under suspension and possession of illegal license plates following an incident at a Hudson Drive business at 7:39 p.m.
According to the report, a business employee saw the woman leave the store without paying for unreported items.
The employee told police the woman fled in a vehicle, but he obtained the license plate number.
According to the report, police found the address associated with the vehicle and arrested and charged the woman in her home.
During the investigation, police reported finding suspected crack cocaine on the woman, and she was found to be driving under suspension and in possession of illegal license plates.
She is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Possession
of marijuana
March 23. Juveniles accused of several offenses: Police arrested three males and two females after the vehicle they were in was seen running a red light at 2:13 a.m.
According to the report, officers saw the vehicle run the light at Graham Road and Hudson Drive.
Police reported the vehicle failed to stop when officers flashed their sirens and lights.
According to the report, the driver, a 16-year-old Broadview Heights male, was arrested and charged with driving without a license, running a red light, reckless operation and violating the city's curfew.
A 17-year-old Broadview Heights male, a 16-year-old Akron male and a 15-year-old Broadview Heights male were charged with violating the city's curfew.
A 16-year-old Broadview Heights female was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, according to the report, and she arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and violating the city's curfew.
The juveniles are scheduled to appear in Summit County Juvenile Court.
Burglary
March 23. Home entered through window: A Fishcreek Road man told police someone entered his apartment by forcing open a window sometime during the day and stole several items.
According to the report, someone stole an Xbox, a PlayStation and a video game.
The total value of the items was $160, according to the report.
March 18. Juveniles seen attempting to enter residence: A Crown Pointe Drive man told police he saw two juveniles attempt to enter his neighbor's garage at 10:25 p.m.
According to the report, the man saw the juveniles wearing hooded sweat shirts attempt to force open the garage's locked door before leaving the scene on foot.
Operating a vehicle while intoxicated
March 23. Man accused of driving while intoxicated: Police arrested a 43-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man and charged him with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to pass a breathalyzer test, carrying a concealed weapon and driving under suspension following an incident in a Steels Corners Road gas station at 3 a.m.
Police reported spotting the man's vehicle parked in a gas station parking lot, and determined the man was intoxicated after he failed a breathalyzer test.
Police also found nunchucks under the man's seat and found the man to be driving under suspension, according to the report.
He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
