Stow -- Police are investigating multiple burglaries reported on Crowne Pointe Drive between March 7 and 9. Officers are examining whether the incidents are related.
A Crown Pointe Drive man told police his neighbor saw two males unsuccessfully attempt to enter his locked garage March 9 at 12:30 p.m.
A second Crown Pointe Drive man told police someone entered his basement through an unlocked door and stole $769 worth of items sometime during the night March 8. According to the report, 15 video games, a video game system and three controllers were taken.
A Crown Pointe Drive woman told police someone entered her unlocked garage sometime during the night March 7 and stole several items from her unlocked vehicle. According to the report, a $400 camcorder, $55 worth of gift cards and $46 in cash were taken from the vehicle.
A second Crown Pointe Drive woman told police someone entered her home during the night March 7 and stole her purse. According to the report, $50 in cash was taken along with the $80 purse.
Police are investigating.
Criminal simulation
March 7. Man accused of attempting to purchase item with counterfeit money: A Fishcreek Road business employee told police a man attempted to pay for an item with what was reported as a counterfeit $10 bill at 9:41 p.m.
According to the report, the employee confiscated the bill, and the man paid for his purchase with a credit card.
Police are investigating.
Domestic violence
March 7. Man accused of assaulting woman: Police arrested a 31-year-old Brixton Drive man and charged him with domestic violence following an incident in his home at 3:53 a.m.
According to the report, a woman with whom the man lives told police he pushed her and grabbed her.
Police reported observing red marks on the woman's neck. She was not treated for her injuries, according to the report.
The man is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Possession of
drug paraphernalia
March 9. Investigation of domestic dispute results in multiple drug charges: Police arrested a 22-year-old Fishcreek Road woman and a 22-year-old man with whom she lives and charged them with numerous offenses following an incident in their apartment at 7 p.m.
The man told police the woman threatened to harm herself and left the residence.According to the report, police found the woman on the grounds of her apartment complex.
During the investigation, police reported finding the woman to be in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs. She was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported also finding suspected drugs and suspected drug paraphernalia on the man.
He was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. The man and woman are scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
Criminal mischief
March 6. Vehicle entered: A Berry Hill woman told police someone entered her daughter's vehicle sometime during the night and broke the dashboard while trying to steal the stereo. Nothing was taken, the report stated.
The estimated damage to the dashboard was $500, according to the report.
Theft
March 6. Items taken from vehicle: A Wyndham Ridge Drive man told police someone entered his vehicle between 1:30 and 7 p.m. and stole the navigation system and several fishing poles.
The total value of the items was $1,900, according to the report.
