Stow -- A 54-year-old Stow man is accused of allegedly soliciting sexual activity from a 14-year-old girl, according to Stow Police Lt. Rick Myers.
Michael Kronjak was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with one count of importuning, a fifth-degree felony, said Myers.
According to Myers, Kronjak is accused of allegedly soliciting sexual activity from the Stow girl in person on Dec. 7, 2007. Myers would not disclose the location of the incident to protect the victim.
Ken Martin, Kronjak's attorney, did not return calls for comment by press time.
Kronjak appeared in the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court Feb. 11 for a preliminary hearing related to the charges, according to Myers. Kronjak has not entered a plea.
According to the Municipal Court's Web site, the case was transferred to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, where it will proceed.
Kronjak is free on a $10,000 bond, according to the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court's clerk of courts office.
