Real estate firm announces merger

Ken Woods, owner of RE/MAX Real Estate Services in Stow, has announced his merger with RE/MAX Commitment, effective Jan. 29. Woods has been a licensed full-time real estate agent since 1989.

In April 2003, he discovered the RE/MAX concept and opened RE/MAX Real Estate Services in Roses Run Country Club in Stow.

"We started as a great incubator office," said Woods. "Since then, we have evolved and are doing very well in spite of the current market conditions. We need to grow further and take the next step to better serve our clients. It will be exciting to serve the needs of our buyers and sellers with a greater network of resources."

Woods' merger with RE/MAX Commitment, an organization rated 210th in overall transactions out of the top 50,000 real estate offices in the U.S., with more than 100 full-time real estate agents, will result in a move to a new location at 4151 Bridgewater Parkway in Stow. This will add a fifth location for RE/MAX Commitment.
