Stow -- A Cleveland man, 33, reported his car stolen on Feb. 24. He told police his disabled Cadillac was missing from the north side of state Route 8 when he returned to retrieve it. The report did not indicate why he abandoned the car or list the value of the vehicle. Police said the car was taken sometime between Feb. 23 at 5:50 p.m. and Feb. 24 at 8:30 p.m. Telecommunication harassment Feb. 26. Unwanted messages: A Mac Drive resident reported receiving harassing voicemails and text messages from a known female between 1 and 4 a.m. Feb. 28. Numerous calls made: A Crestdale Drive resident reported receiving five unwanted phone calls from an unknown person between 2:20 and 2:53 a.m. Theft Feb. 22. Electronics taken: An unknown male took a flat screen monitor, valued at $198, and a computer, valued at $298, from a store in the 3000 block of Hudson drive. A store employee told police the man exited through a fire door without paying for the items. Feb. 23. Jewelry missing: A Hibbard Drive resident reported a bracelet, class ring, two necklaces and 20 diamond-studded pins missing from a jewelry box and dresser in the home. The total value of the jewelry was $5,300. Feb. 26. Cash exchange: A Ravenna man, 32, was arrested at a store in the 3000 block of Hudson Drive after police said he received $63.30 in cash for returning merchandise that had not been purchased. Feb. 26. Pills taken: A Deerfield woman, 48, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. at store in the 4000 block of Fishcreek Road after police said she removed caffeine pills, valued at $2.99, from the box and exited the store. The store manager stopped the woman in the parking lot, where she was arrested by police. The pills were recovered. Feb. 28. Items taken: An employee of a store in the 3000 block of Kent Road reported that a known person took a metal pill capsule, valued at $4.99, and a 10-pack of batteries, valued at $6.49, without purchasing them.
