Tim Tausch, 62, of Silver Lake, passed died Jan. 29, 2010, surrounded by family and friends.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1973 and received numerous awards for his outstanding performance. Immediately following his discharge, he began employment with Chemstress Consultant Co., where he worked until his death.
Preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Rose Tausch, Mr. Tausch is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betsy (nee Haas); daughters Julie and Amy; brother Larry (Joyce) of California; sisters Barb (Paul) Whewell of Bainbridge and Cindy Tausch-Flores of Lakewood; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was at Redmon Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial was at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to either Walsh Jesuit High School (Athletic or Arts Booster Clubs) 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls 44224 or to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
