A June wedding date has been chosen by Alisha Kennedy Brown and Collin Geoffery Springer, both of Charlotte, N.C.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown Jr. of Concord, N.C. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Springer of Munroe Falls.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. in 2003 and a master's degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn. in 2005. She is employed as a piano teacher in Charlotte and an organist/pianist and handbell director at the University City UMC in Charlotte.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School. He graduated in 2007 from Springfield College in Springfield, Ma. He is employed as a physical education teacher and varsity girls volleyball coach at the Cannon School in Concord, N. C.
The ceremony will take place at the Organ Lutheran Church in Salisburg, N.C.
