The Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education voted 4-0 Monday night to "intervene" in an Ohio Elections Commission case regarding a citizens group.

Last July, almost eight months after a failed levy attempt, the Stow-Munroe Falls Levy Committee filed a complaint with the Ohio Elections Commission against the citizens group, Stow Citizens for Responsible Government.

Filed by Superintendent Dr. Russ Jones on behalf of the committee, the complaint alleges the group made numerous "false statements" regarding the district on its Web site, www.stowidiocracy.com.

Later that month, the panel members ruled that some of the allegations may have probable cause to be a violation, while others were ruled there was no probable cause of a violation.

According to the Board of Education's resolution, a final hearing on the allegations ruled to have probable cause is set for March 4.

Board president Karen Wright was not available for comment due to the Board's scheduled executive session.

To speaker of the truth. Try the spell check feature. It's for the uneducated like your-self. It is obvious you have no idea what is going on with these school boards/districts. Before you bash other's at least try to hide the fact that you know nothing of what you speak. Go to the Ohio department of education web site and educate yourself. Then maybe you will understand that it's not more money they need, it's better management of the money they have. I can't imagine that you think the board is telling you the truth, but if you do your a bigger fool then your comments make you appear.

Haha! Serves these lazy, do-nothings who are hiding behind some ignorant blog right! "Stow Citizens for Responsible Government", huh?

Talk about hypocritical since they can't even be responsible when it comes to substantiating any of their accusations. They're just a bunch of do-nothings and deadbeats who aren't involved at all in the community. They want to live in a city like Stow but don't want to pay for it, which makes them (and anyone else) deadbeats. Stop using "it's the economy" as an excuse for everything little thing.

Their website is a joke. Your freedom of speech does not allow you to say whatever you want. There are ramifications for knowingly stating stuff that is not the truth (again, if they weren't laziness and uneducated, they would know this).
