Stow wrestlers sweep final home meet
The Stow-Munroe Falls wrestling team got its first wins of the season Jan. 28 when the Bulldogs swept a home tri-meet on senior night.
The Bulldogs got their first win in the Northeast Ohio Conference Lake Division with a 36-32 win over Brush and then routed Glenville 57-11.
Stow's record stands at 2-3, 1-3 in the Lake Division.
Stow got two wins from Dylan Hartwig, Mike Edwards, JJ McCaffery, Zach Messinger, Troy Steiger and senior heavyweight Nick Rajcsak on the night.
Stow was scheduled to wrestle at the Northeast Ohio Conference Championships Feb. 5 and 6, but resutls were not available at press time.
Stow will close its regular season at Hudson Feb. 11 with a tri-meet vs. the Explorers and Shaker Heights. First match is at 7 p.m,
