Support groups to meet
Groups meet at The GriefCare Place Support Center, at 4499 Darrow Road in Stow in the Keystone building, entrance in rear.
Until Healing Comes: The foundational support group program where grievers are given information on bereavement and how it affects them body, soul and spirit. Grieving adults are welcomed to a safe, comfortable, non-denominational grief support meeting. Facilitator is Lou-Ann Redmon. On Feb. 8, the guest speaker will be Pastor James Lee form Summa Health System's bereavement department.
Kids' Time Care Group because kids grieve too -- For children 5 to 14 years old who have lost someone they loved through death. Offered is a safe, comfortable atmosphere, with capable leadership. The group is led by Susan Deitrick, with Mary Jane Williams and will meet Feb. 8 from 5 to 6:15 p.m.
Bereaved Parents: A support group specifically for parents who have experienced the loss of their child, led by Carole Hegedus and Kim Bresky. The group will meet Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.
