Edith Gay Moore, 77, died Jan. 17, 2010, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Morgan Hollow, W.V., she was the daughter of Bob Fox and Mary Davis. She was a homemaker and had worked hard all her life helping her husband build the house they lived in from the ground up. She loved to crochet and travel and was a member of the Brady Lake Baptist Church and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother John Fox and son-in-law Eugene Thompson. She is survived by husband Russell; daughter Mary Ann (Brian) Zimmerman; brother Bob (Genevia) Fox; grandson Ken (Sharon) Thompson; great-grandson Dylan Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and service were at the Redmon Funeral Home, the Rev. Virgil Elkins officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
