WILLIAM THOMAS SCAFIDI
William Thomas Scafidi, 62, of Munroe Falls, died Jan. 5, 2010.
Born in Akron, he was a member of the Greater Akron Motorcycle Club, the Italian American Club, served his country in the Navy and had retired as a meat cutter from the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
He is survived by daughter Erin (Adam) Kilgore; sons Antonio Francis Scafidi and Michael Thomas Scafidi; sisters Patricia (Charles) Perrin, Mary Ann (Jack) Haag, Barbara Malita and Cheryl Colianni; and brothers Anthony (Suzanne) Scafidi and James Scafidi.
A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Eugene Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence 44131-2217.
Redmon Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
