U.S. Marine, owned Kline Insurance Agency
James M. Kline, 66, of Stow, died Jan. 2, 2010.
Born in Marian, Ind., Mr. Kline lived in the Tallmadge-Stow area for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was the owner of Kline Insurance Agency in Tallmadge since 1975, retiring in 2009 with 34 years service. Mr. Kline was a member of Holy Family Church for more than 40 years, where he was a Eucharistic minister. He was a member of the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce, Stow Zoning Appeals Board; he was a Boy Scout Leader and past president of the Stow Munroe Falls Jaycees.
Mr. Kline was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Vivian Kline and brothers, Charles and Gerald Kline. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Ott); daughter, Diane (Dave) Ross of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Scott (Sandi) Kline of Akron; grandchildren, Zachary, Blake, Mackenzie, Andrew, and Bethany; sister, Susan (Dan) Capp; brothers, Jeffrey (Sheryl) Kline of Cuyahoga Falls, David (Susan) Kline and Daniel (Susan) Kline, all of Tallmadge; sister-in-law, Lois Kline of Akron; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Capital Campaign or the Boy Scouts of America Pack 3177, with Holy Family Rectory, 3450 Sycamore Drive Stow 44224 accepting both donations.
Donovan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
