Stow -- A counterfeit $10 bill did not stop a man from purchasing two 24-ounce cans of beer from a business in the 3000 block of Graham Road. The incident was reported Jan. 3 at 12:45 a.m.

When the man handed over the fake money, an employee told him it was not real.

So the man pulled out a legitimate $10 bill, paid for the beer and departed.

It was unclear from the police report whether the clerk kept the fake money. Police are investigating.
