Stow — A man robbed the National City Bank Tuesday at 1 p.m. and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
No one was reported injured, and no weapon was seen by the bank teller.
According to police, the man entered the bank, 815 Graham Road in Stow, approached the teller and handed her a note demanding money. His face was not covered, and no words were spoken.
The teller gave the man the money as demanded, and he fled the bank through the north rear entrance.
Police responded to the scene and attempted to pick up a scent with the K-9 unit. But because numerous people were present in the bank shortly before the incident, the track was unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a white male, age 25 to 35, 5-foot, 8-inches tall, thin build, dirty blonde hair, a few days worth of facial hair growth, and wearing a light brown “hoodie” sweatshirt and a dark green stocking cap.
Stow Police ask anyone with any information to contact the department at 330-689-5700.
