The Women's Fellowship of Stow Community United Church of Christ is sponsoring its sixth annual Christmas Basket Silent Auction. The baskets, designed for a wide range of interests, are now on display at the church.

"We're so proud of these beautiful baskets," states Dee Sullivan, president of the Women's Fellowship. "We know they make wonderful gifts for your family and friends."

Baskets are available for men, women, children and even family pets.

Sports fans will have the opportunity to bid on baskets for the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers, as well as a special basket for NASCAR fans. Ohio State supporters will be pleased with a basket chock-full of Ohio State items. There's even a special basket for a favorite teacher.

There are baskets for collectors of angels, snowmen or Santa Claus figurines, as well as baskets complete with items for family game night or to provide hours of fun with puzzles.

Items included in each basket are listed on the bid sheet and all baskets are beautifully decorated and wrapped for giving.

Baskets may be viewed at the Women's Fellowship annual cookie sale on Dec. 12. Bidding will close that day at 1 p.m. Winners will be notified by phone at the close of bidding.

For weekday viewing prior to the event, arrangements must be made in advance by calling the church office at 330-688-8927 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Stow Community Church is located at 1567 Pilgrim Drive.
