Quintet runs in Burning River 100 Four Stow residents and one Munroe Falls resident competed in the Burning River 100 run, which concluded Aug. 2. The 100-mile run went through the Cleveland Metroparks, the Summit Metro Parks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Kurt Osadcuk of Stow led the way with a 58th-place time of 27 hours, 39 minutes. He also ran an extra eight miles for charity, with all the proceeds going to Akron Children's Hospital. Other Stow residents who finished in the top 100 were Brandon Russell (64th, 27:55) and Jeff Burke (98th, 29:26).
