ANN H. WILLIAMS Registered nurse Ann H. Williams, 92, died June 19, 2009. Born in Pittston, Pa., she graduated from West Pittston High School in 1935. She also graduated from Robert Packer Hospital as a registered nurse in 1939 and Columbia University as an X-ray tech in 1954. A resident of Morristown, New Jersey most of her life and Dallas, Pa., after she retired from AT&T Bell Labs after 35 years of service. She was co-owner with her husband of Williams Surgical Appliances in Morristown, New Jersey for 35 years. Mrs. Williams was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Pa., and was Past Matron of Evening Star Chapter in Morristown, N.J., and member of Order of the Eastern Star, Pearl Chapter # 79 of New Jersey. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Morse Williams, in 1999; her mother and father, Elizabeth and William Hunt; sister Peggy Jane Smith; and brothers Samuel and William Hunt, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Diane Williams of Macedonia; grandchildren Lisa (Scott) Polidoro of Cuyahoga Falls, Kevin Williams of Chicago and Scott Williams of Providence, R.I.; great-grandchildren Alexis and Nathan Polidoro; and sister Patti Lou Lumley of Buena Park, California. The Rev. Roger E. Griffith conducted a memorial service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 105 Irem Road, Dallas, Pa. Burial was at Fern Knoll Cemetery in Dallas, Pa. Memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 1742 Georgetown Road, Suite J, Hudson 44236. Redmon Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Comments
