Support groups to meet

Groups meet at The GriefCare Place Support Center, at 4499 Darrow Road in Stow in the Keystone building, entrance in rear.

Call the office for further information at 330-686-1750.

The GriefCare Place is a non-profit bereavement center dedicated to providing a safe place where those grieving the death of a loved one can find support, education, understanding, and a caring place to heal.

The Men's Group: A discussion and sharing group for men who have experienced the death of their loved one. This group will meet June 16 at 7 p.m. Dave Newbauer will lead the group.

Until Healing Comes: The foundational support group program where grievers are given information on bereavement and how it affects them body, soul and spirit. Grieving adults are welcomed to a safe, comfortable, non-denominational grief support meeting. Led by Lou-Ann Redmon, the group will meet June 15 at 7 p.m.

The GriefCare Place is having a one-time presentation/discussion on the "Pros and Cons of Moving On" for widows and widowers. Attendees will discuss changes needed to make after losing a spouse through death.

The presentation will be June 17 at 1 p.m. at The GriefCare Place, 4499 Darrow Road, Stow; contact 330-686-1750.
