Longtime area resident
Doris Elizabeth Humbert, 84, of Cuyahoga Falls, died May 22, 2009.
Born in Akron, she was a longtime area resident, residing in Cuyahoga Falls since 1982, had worked for the city of Cuyahoga Falls and was a member of the Stow Community United Church of Christ for many years.
Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Ruth Turner, brothers Avery (Edith), William (Doris) and Robert Turner, she is survived by husband Jack; sons Ted (Deborah) and Timothy (SanDee); six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister Senora "Helen" Alexander; and sister-in-law Gertrude Turner.
Visitation was at Redmon Funeral Home with services at Stow Community United Church of Christ, the Rev. James Edwards officiating. Interment was in Crown Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 525 E. Market St., PO Box 2090, Akron 44398-9976 or the Stow Community United Church of Christ, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow 44224.
