Stow Police report that on Sept. 19, at approximately 9:16 a.m., a lone black male
entered the National Cash Advance store at 4301 Kent Road in Stow. According to the police, the male
began questioning the female clerk regarding products and services of the
business and following a brief discussion, he suddenly pulled out a
handgun and demanded money from the cash register. He removed the money from the
safe and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The male is described as follows:
Black male, age 20-25, medium build, short afro hair, pencil thin beard
connected to pencil thin sideburns, blue jeans, gray jacket with dark
colored diamonds on back.
The weapon was described as a silver/black semi-automatic handgun. An
undisclosed amount of money was taken from the business.
The Stow Police Department is asking if anyone has any information regarding this incident to contact the department at 330-689-5700.
