The annual Aviation Heritage Festival took place Sept. 6 at the Kent State University Airport.
Airplane rides, music from the Accent Band of Stow and Stow-Munroe Falls High School Marching Band, a children's tent with arts and crafts activities presented by the city of Stow and the Stow-Munroe Falls Kiwanis Club's $5 pancake breakfast also were available throughout the day.
The event also featured stationary displays of vintage and contemporary aircrafts.
