Trips * The Sunshiners have scheduled a trip to visit Lake Erie lighthouses May 20 from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The tour, which costs $66 per person, includes light houses, lunch, a winery and two hours at Presque Isle Casino. Call Sharon Swinson at 330-688-1091 for more information. * A trip to Hartville is planned for May 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees must pay for their own lunches at Hartville Kitchen. The cost of the trip is $6 per person. * A trip is planned June 3 to Vatican Splendors Western Reserve Historical Society from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will not be provided. Call 330-688-0148 for more information. * The Sunshiners will see Carousel's production of "Damn Yankees" June 5 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. The cost to attend is $57 per person. Dinner is included in the cost of the trip. * The Sunshiners plan to take a trolley tour of the ethnic food stores in Cleveland June 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This tour requires walking and getting on and off the trolley. Participants should bring a cooler for their purchases. The group will have lunch at University Inn and then travel to Westside Market. The cost to attend is $53 per person. * The Sunshiners will travel to Wheeling Casino and Racetrack July 19. The trip includes a roundtrip deluxe motorcoach ride, gaming time at Wheeling Island, a casino bonus and a live racing program, subject to casino policy and may change or be canceled. Attendees must pay for their own dinner at Mehlman's Cafeteria. The cost is $26 per person. Call 330-688-4366 for more information. * A trip is planned for Oct. 12 through 15 to Iowa, and features an all-day cruise, plus a visit to Chicago, one night lodging at the Capri Casino Resort, a full day cruise, plus gaming, at the Diamond Jo Casino and sight-seeing in Chicago. The cost to attend for double occupancy is $495, with a $50 deposit due at the time of signup. Call 330-688-4366 for more information. Cards Cards are played at Stow Senior Resource Center, 4301 Kent Road, on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A partner is not needed to participate.
