Munroe Falls Safety Town signups

This year, Munroe Falls Safety Town will take place June 23 to 27.

Safety Town is for children who will be entering kindergarten this fall. Any child who lives in Munroe Falls is eligible.

Children will be acquainted with safety information regarding fires, seatbelt usage, bicycles, weapons, pets, personal safety and poison prevention.

Two certified teachers will lead Safety Town, assisted by various educational specialists.

All sessions will take place at the Munroe Falls Police Department, 43 Munroe Falls Ave.

Applications are available from Debbie Ritzinger at the police department.

The class fee is $35, and the registration deadline is June 3.

Volunteers needed for Stow Safety Town

Stow Safety Town is looking for responsible teenagers to volunteer this summer.

To be selected as a Stow Safety Town volunteer, applicants must have the emergency medical form completed, signed by parents and returned no later than May 12.

Registration forms can be picked up at Stow Police Department, 3800 Darrow Road.
