Couple exchanges vows during December ceremony

Meghan F. Plummer and Adam J. Letera were united in marriage Dec. 28, 2007, at Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Richard Osberg Jr., and the soloist was Natalie Carlson of Stow.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Jill Plummer of Shippenville, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Mary Jo Letera of Munroe Falls.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Christina Wu satin and English net gown with crystal beading, a ruched sweetheart neckline, sheer cap sleeves and a crystal beaded empire waistline. She carried a bouquet of white casablanca lilies surrounded with soft pine and crystal sprays.

Gillian Wrightson of Silver Springs, Md., cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Letera of Cuyahoga Falls, sister-in-law of the bride; Abby Letera of Munroe Falls, sister of the bridegroom; Skylar Stube of Pittsburgh, friend of the bride; Madi Ford of Potomac, Md., cousin of the bride; Abby Casa Santa of Rochester Hills, Mich., friend of the bride; Jen Krosschell of Grand Rapids, Mich., friend of the bride; and Joslynn Tatterson of Green, friend of the bride. Emma Plummer of Shippenville, Pa., niece of the bride, was flower girl.

David Letera of Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Matt Letera of Cuyahoga Falls, brother of the bridegroom; Matt Plummer of Pittsburgh, brother of the bride; Chris Plummer of Shippenville, Pa., brother of the bride; Andrew Plummer of Pittsburgh, brother of the bride; Sean Lucey of Stow, friend of the bridegroom; Shane Brandy of Akron, friend of the bridegroom; and Kyle Legget of Pittsburgh, friend of the bridegroom. Stephen Plummer and Thomas Plummer, both of Shippenville, Pa., and brothers of the bride, were junior ushers. The reception took place at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Christian Life Academy in Seneca, Pa., and a 2006 Malone College graduate. She is employed at J.M. Smucker in Orville. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and a 2006 graduate of Walsh University. He is employed at J.M. Smucker in Orville. The couple honeymooned at Sandals in Jamaica, and reside in Green.
