The host Stow-Munroe Falls baseball team earned a split with Lakewood St. Edward April 26. The Bulldogs won a 20-16 decision in the second game after losing a 4-0 decision in the first game. Stow scored 11 runs in one inning in the second game. Jarrod Plazak had three hits, including a grand slam and a double, and drove in seven runs. Alex Loftin also homered and drove in three runs. A couple of errors hurt the Bulldogs in the opener. Matt Marino had two hits, including a double, for Stow. On April 24, the host Bulldogs scored a 7-1 victory over Warren Harding. Stow was scheduled to host Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division rival Cuyahoga Falls April 28 before heading to Water Works Park to play Falls April 29. Results of those contests were not available at press time. The Bulldogs are set to host Akron Firestone May 1 at 4:30 p.m. and Louisville for a doubleheader May 3.
