Robert and Pearl Ely of Garrettsville announce the engagement of their granddaughter, Holly Ann Estes, to Jason Alexander Caron, the son of Peter and Nona Caron of Stow.
The bride-elect is attending Kent State Trumbull College and plans to obtain a bachelor's degree in business when she graduates from the school.
She is employed at Signum Inc. in Solon.
Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School.
He graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
He also obtained a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland in 2006.
He is employed as a mechanical engineer with the U.S. Navy in Indian Head, Md.
The couple plans to wed in July 2008 in Southington.
