Stow resident joins chemical society

Katherine Moga of Stow is a member of the American Chemical Society at Ashland University.

The American Chemical Society enhances professional development though guest speakers, judging science fairs and mentoring programs on science topics. The ACS is open to all undergraduates who are interested in chemical sciences.

Moga, the daughter of Gregory and Valerie Moga, is majoring in chemistry.

The Stow Sentry recognizes college students who achieve academic status via the dean's list, president's roll and honorary clubs. We do not print names of social fraternity pledges. We also print the names of college graduates and those accepted into military schools.

All such news is sent to the newspaper from the college. We cannot accept news from parents or students without documentation from the college. Parents or students who want news in the paper should check with the school.
