Police News: Someone enters garage, takes cash, drinks alcohol

Stow -- A Graham Road man told police someone entered his garage April 6 between 9:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. and stole $10 in cash and drank a bottle of his Southern Comfort.

The alcohol's value was $20, according to the report.

It was not reported whether the garage was locked.

Resisting arrest

April 5. Man accused of resisting arrest during investigation: Police arrested a 25-year-old Stow man and charged him with domestic violence and resisting arrest after his wife said the man harmed her at 3:42 p.m.

According to the report, police observed red marks on the woman's neck and chest. Police reported the man refused to cooperate with them during the incident. The woman was not hospitalized, according to the report.

He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.

Disorderly conduct

April 4. Female says male picked her up without her permission: Police arrested a 19-year-old Stow male and charged him with disorderly conduct after an 18-year-old female neighbor told police the male picked her up without her permission.

The woman told police the male picked her up while she was outside in front of her home and carried her into her home at 11:25 a.m. Police reported several witnesses saw the incident.

The male is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.

Disorderly conduct

April 1. Man accused making threats: Police arrested a 47-year-old White Oak Drive man and charged him with disorderly conduct after a neighbor accused him of making threatening remarks at 6:05 p.m.

According to the report, the neighbor said the remarks were unprovoked. Police reported several witnesses confirmed the neighbor's report, and the man was charged.

He is scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.

Burglary

April 1. Garage entered during the night: An Osage Street woman told police someone entered her open garage sometime during the night and stole a $150 bicycle.

According to the report, someone rummaged through her vehicle and opened all the compartments, but nothing was taken.

Criminal mischief

April 5: Eggs and ketchup thrown at vehicle: A Timberdale Drive woman told police someone threw eggs and ketchup at her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway sometime during the night.

No damage to the vehicle was reported.

April 4. Man reports paintball hit his home: An Atterbury Lane man told police he heard someone shoot a paintball at one of his windows at 3:56 p.m. The window was not damaged, according to the report.

April 3. Feces placed on driveway: A Heatherwood Court woman told police someone placed feces on her driveway sometime during the night.

Theft

April 2. Cash taken from home: A Fishcreek Road man told police someone stole $650 in cash from his home sometime between March 31 and April 2. No sign of forced entry was reported.

April 1. Items stolen from vehicle: A Fox Burrow Drive woman told police someone entered two vehicles parked on her property during the night and stole a laptop computer, the computer's case and a nylon briefcase. It was not reported whether the vehicle was locked.The total value of the items was $2,060, the report stated.
