Property Taxes

Its my opinion Senior Cititzens should not have too pay property taxes any more as we dont have children in schools. and we allready have enough too pay like food, medical,medicine, gas too heat our homes. people too take care of our lawns, and Handy men services.gas for cars, clothing.utilities, cab fare ect. We did our part when we raised our familys.Many are loseing their homes as they cant pay the Taxes. Marilyn L Strunk 4051 Stow Rd. Stow

I think that everyone that owns a home should still have to pay property taxes. Wherever you live you should support the schools, the children, the community; it's what makes you want to live in that particualr city in the first place. However, as a Senior Citizen there should be some type of a discpount based on the value of your home and/or your income. If you don't want to pay property taxes move to an apartment.
