Stow woman receives leadership/vision award

Kathy Thomas, Theodore Roosevelt High School's director of Career-Technical and Community Education, was honored with the "Outstanding Leadership and Vision Award" from the Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University.

The Stow resident received the award for her promotion of the engineering profession among secondary schools. She helps coordinate the Six District Educational Compact's Manufacturing and Pre-Engineering Academy, which is headquartered at Roosevelt and Stow-Munroe Falls high schools.
