Traffic pattern being tested at SMFHS to remain in place

Published: September 26, 2016 10:58 PM

The new traffic pattern at Stow-Munroe Falls High School that was being tested is now the established drop-off and pickup procedure.

According to a phone call to parents from Dr. Jeffrey Hartmann, SMFHS principal, the traffic pattern will remain in place. All parent drop-offs and pickups will take place in the front of the building. Bus drop-offs and pickups are relegated to the back of the building.

According to Mark Fritz, the district's director of operations, the goal is "to alleviate some of the congestion on Graham Road."

Fritz  said some minor issues will be addressed next summer to alleviate concerns "if funds are available."
