Stow City Council is scheduled to hear public comments on a proposal to raise the city's stormwater fee from $3 to $5 per month during Council's Aug. 11 committee-of-the-whole meeting in Council chambers at 5:30 p.m. . The proposal would also call for an increase of 10 cents annually, starting in 2017. The fee currently raises about $800,000 annually for stormwater projects and is included on property owners water bills. An ordinance to enact the increase was given first reading July 14.
