Board of Education approves levy request for November ballot

Voters in the Stow-Munroe Falls school district will be asked to approve a 1.99-mill permanent improvement fund levy on the Nov. 8 ballot.

The Board of Education unanimously approved placing the levy request on the ballot at its meeting tonight (Monday).. 

The levy, if approved, would raise $1.8 million annually for items classified as permanent improvements only; the funds cannot be used for operating expenses such as salaries.
