Stow Planning Commission advances site plan for new Drug Mart

Stow -- The Planning Commission voted Nov. 6 to recommend to the Council’s planning committee that it approve a site plan for a new Discount Drug Mart at 3956 Fishcreek Road.
The site is on the west side of Fishcreek Road, south of the Oregon Trails Shopping Center. The property is zoned C-3 Community Retail.
According to Planning Director Rob Kurtz, the estimated 5-acre property has a single-family home, which will be removed to make room for the new store.
Discount Drug Mart plans to vacate its space in the shopping center, if the project is approved, Kurtz said.
